12-O-Methylcarnosic acid (12-Methoxycarnosic acid) 是从小叶丹参的丙酮提取物中分离的一种二萜肉桂酸，是 5α-还原酶 (5α-reductase) 抑制的活性成分，IC₅₀ 为 61.7 μM。12-O-Methylcarnosic acid 抑制 LNCaP 细胞的增殖。12-O-Methylcarnosic acid 具有抗氧化、抗癌和抗微生物活性。

生物活性

12-O-Methylcarnosic acid (12-Methoxycarnosic acid), a diterpene carnosic acid isolated from the acetone extract of Salvia microphylla, is an active constituent of 5α-reductase inhibition with an IC₅₀ value of 61.7 μM. 12-O-Methylcarnosic acid inhibits proliferation in LNCaP cells. 12-O-Methylcarnosic acid has antioxidant, anti-cancer and antimicrobial activity.

体外研究

12-O-Methylcarnosic acid (12-Methoxycarnosic acid; 5 μM) inhibits androgen-dependent proliferation of LNCaP cells as 66.7%.
12-O-Methylcarnosic acid shows antimicrobial activity against S. aureus at 78 μg/mL.

Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (7.22 mM); Clear solution

此方案可获得 ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (7.22 mM，饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液。
以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 25.0 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 400 μL PEG300 中，混合均匀；向上述体系中加入50 μL Tween-80，混合均匀；然后继续加入 450 μL生理盐水定容至 1 mL。
将 0.9 g 氯化钠，完全溶解于 100 mL ddH₂O 中，得到澄清透明的生理盐水溶液
