8-CPT-2Me-cAMP sodium 是 exchange proteins activated by cAMP (Epac) 的选择性激动剂，Epac 是小 GTP 酶 Rap1 和 Rap2 的 cAMP 敏感性鸟嘌呤核苷酸交换因子 (GEF)。8-CPT-2Me-cAMP sodium 激活 Epac1(EC₅₀=2.2 μM)，但不激活 PKA(EC₅₀>10 μM)。8-CPT-2Me-cAMP 在体外刺激 Epac 介导的 Ca²⁺ 在胰腺 β 细胞中的释放。

生物活性

8-CPT-2Me-cAMP sodium is a selective activator of exchange proteins activated by cAMP (Epac), the cAMP sensitive guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs) for the small GTPases Rap1 and Rap2. 8-CPT-2Me-cAMP sodium activates Epac1 (EC₅₀ = 2.2 μM), but not PKA (EC₅₀> 10 μM). 8-CPT-2Me-cAMP sodium stimulates Epac-mediated Ca²⁺ release in pancreatic β-cells in vitro.
