8-Deoxygartanin 是山竹果中的一种 prenylated xanthones。8-Deoxygartanin 是一种丁基胆碱酯酶 (BChE) 的选择性抑制剂。8-Deoxygartanin 具有抗疟原虫活性，对 Plasmodium falciparum W2 植株作用的 IC₅₀ 值为 11.8 μM。8-Deoxygartanin 能抑制 NF-κB (p65) 的活化，IC₅₀ 值为11.3 μM。

生物活性

8-Deoxygartanin, a prenylated xanthones from G. mangostana, is a selective inhibitor of butyrylcholinesterase (BChE). 8-Deoxygartanin exhibits antiplasmodial activity with an IC₅₀ of 11.8 μM for the W2 strain of Plasmodium falciparum. 8-Deoxygartanin inhibits NF-κB (p65) activation with an IC₅₀ of 11.3 μM.
