Azilsartan mepixetil is the antagonist of angiotensin II receptor. Azilsartan mepixetil achieves ideal protective effect for heart and kidney functions. Azilsartan mepixetil has the potential for the research of hypertension, chronic heart failure and diabetic nephropathy (extracted from patent CN107400122A).
