云母是含锂、钠、钾、镁、铝、锌、铁、钒等金属元素并具有层状结构的含水铝硅酸盐族矿物的总称,是复杂的硅酸盐类。云母通常呈假六方或菱形的板状、片状、柱状晶形。颜色随化学成分的变化而异。常见于火成岩、沉积岩和变质岩中。优质白云母主要产于花岗伟晶岩中。云母的种类很多,有白云母、黑云母、金云母、锂云母、铁锂云母、绢云母和脆云母、钛云母、水云母等。具有工业价值的主要有白云母、镁硅白云母和金云母。可引起尘肺病、咳嗽、呼吸困难、虚弱、体重减轻。反复接触会刺激肺,大剂量接触后,肺部出现斑疤,X光胸透显异常,并引起咳嗽和呼吸短促。工作人员应作好防护,若不慎触及眼睛和皮肤,应立即用流动清水冲洗干净。
